JoAnn Dobson is an integral part of the MJS Packaging team. Before joining our team in January 2016, JoAnn’s professional background was in the freight industry.
She was the Operations Manager for Beacon’s Moving & Storage for years before spending 6 years as a freight broker. Now with MJS Packaging, JoAnn finds herself working with a variety of industries including food and beverage, pharmaceutical and household and industrial chemicals.
As an Inside Sales Specialist, one of the things she enjoys most about working with MJS Packaging is the overall support and team culture of the company. From day one, her original manager was always there and willing to help her make the transition into the packaging industry. She received amazing training on our industry, customers and processes. She loves the fact that no matter the case, there is always someone who is willing to help.
Customer Service During COVID-19
The COVID-19 pandemic has created challenges across all industries. Customer service is more important than ever and that’s always been the case with JoAnn. Her goal has and is always to do what’s best for the customers.
She has been pivotal in helping customers avoid problems that may occur with freight. Her previous experience and knowledge of freight help her customers with challenges like claims and delays. She specifically helped one customer address a detention issue. The customer didn’t understand the effects of the issue until JoAnn recognized it and provided directions to resolve the issue.
JoAnn also works with customers in discovering new packaging options for their products. Her overall knowledge of the packaging industry helps her create packaging solutions for her customers.
