Getting Acquainted with NCPW

safe packaging options are good for NCPW, but even better year round when you have help from MJS PackagingIf you visit the NCPW website, you will see they have 12 topics to help consumers stay away from unnecessary danger or risk. Each topic has its own importance and relevance to the consumer depending on their circumstances and their experiences with finances, health, privacy, technology, and more.

Among these topics, we are highlighting consumer health and safety. It plays a big role in our work for companies in many industries and we’re proud to do our part to provide safe packaging options and assistance. Below the following introduction video to NCPW, we explain our role and the many ways we can help.

How We Put an Emphasis on Safe Packaging Options

NCPW is a great opportunity to work with the community-at-large to highlight the available protections and innovations that keep us all safe. Our packaging consultants know how packaging protects the consumer, the company, and the brand.

For companies, packaging protects in several, key ways. 1) protecting the product during shipping, 2) maintaining/increasing shelf life, and 3) adding durability.

To some degree, consumers enjoy the benefits of those protections as well.  With child-resistant closures (CRCs), warning labels and other safe packaging options, too, consumers can purchase confidently knowing the manufacturer is putting a priority on providing safeguards.

The best examples of safe packaging options include times when our ingenuity continues to improve packaging and packaging components. Whether it is for the purpose of preventing access to children or warning about potentially dangerous content, we know the stakes can be high. We are proud of our innovation in this arena. We were first to market with a 15mm CRC as a response to changes in regulations for child-resistant (CR) packaging for certain nasal and ophthalmic products,  originally designed for the over-the-counter and prescription markets. We have also been able to use these components and our expertise to extend the use of CRCs into other categories, like lubricant and e-liquid packaging. For the benefit of consumer households (and our customers’ interest, too), we are happy to report that CRCs have proven to be useful in nearly every market.
